On 26th January, a special book display was organized in the library of PMSHRI KV No. 2 Vijayawada to celebrate Republic Day. The event was successfully managed under the guidance of Mr. Sumit Sharma, Librarian.

The display featured a curated collection of books related to the history of India's independence, its Constitution, and the significance of Republic Day. The books were carefully selected to educate students about the country's democratic values, national heroes, and the importance of the Constitution in shaping the nation's future.

परीक्षा पे चर्चा 23 जनवरी कार्यक्रम का सारांश

23 जनवरी को केन्द्रीय विद्यालय नं. 2 विजयवाड़ा में "परीक्षा पे चर्चा" कार्यक्रम का आयोजन सफलतापूर्वक किया गया। इस कार्यक्रम का संचालन पुस्तकालय अध्यक्ष श्री सुमित शर्मा के मार्गदर्शन में किया गया।

NATIONAL LIBRARY WEEK CELEBRATION

 

National Library Week was celebrated with great enthusiasm and active participation at PMSHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 2, Vijayawada, under the guidance of  Shri Sumit Sharma, the Pustkalya Adhyaksh. The week-long celebration, held from 15 TO 20 TH NOVEMBER, aimed to highlight the importance of libraries in fostering a love for reading and promoting lifelong learning among students and staff.

·  he event commenced with a formal inauguration by the Principal Sir Dr. Pvsss Krishna sir  who emphasized the vital role of libraries in education. A ribbon-cutting ceremony marked the opening of a special exhibition featuring rare and inspiring books.

·  Book Exhibition:
A curated display of books covering a variety of genres and topics attracted readers of all ages. Students and staff explored literature, science, history, and fiction, which broadened their horizons.

·  Competitions and Activities:

• Book Review Competition: Students presented reviews of their favourite books, showcasing their critical thinking and creativity.
• Quiz Contest: A lively quiz tested participants' knowledge of literature, authors, and general awareness about libraries.
• Storytelling Session: Younger students participated in an engaging storytelling session that sparked their imagination.

National Education Day Celebration

To commemorate the birth anniversary of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, the first Education Minister of independent India, PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya No.2 Vijayawada organized a series of events to celebrate National Education Day. The event aimed to honor his significant contributions to the field of education and to inspire students to strive for academic excellence.

Key Activities

1.     Inauguration Ceremony:

o    The event was inaugurated with a ceremonial lamp lighting ceremony, followed by a prayer song and a welcome address by the Principal.

o    A brief speech highlighting the importance of education and the legacy of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad was delivered.

2.     Special Assembly:

o    A special assembly was conducted, featuring:

§  A captivating documentary on the life and achievements of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad.

§  Eloquent speeches by students on the significance of education in nation-building.

§  A thought-provoking debate on the role of technology in modern education.

§  A mesmerizing cultural program showcasing the rich diversity of Indian culture through songs, dances, and skits.

अमृत काल कहानी लेखन प्रतियोगिता का मुख्य उद्देश्य छात्रों को अपने विचारों, कल्पनाओं और रचनात्मकता के माध्यम से भारत के भविष्य की दिशा में योगदान देने के लिए प्रेरित करना है। यह प्रतियोगिता:
