The Art Festival was celebrated with great enthusiasm and creativity at PMSHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 2, Vijayawada. The event showcased the artistic talents of students across various grades, creating an inspiring atmosphere of cultural and creative expression.

The festival featured diverse activities, including:

• Painting and Drawing Competitions: Students displayed their creativity on themes like "India's Heritage" and "Environmental Conservation."
• Handicrafts and Sculptures: Beautiful handmade crafts and sculptures were exhibited, highlighting traditional and contemporary art forms.
• Live Art Performances: Students participated in live sketching and rangoli-making, mesmerizing the audience with their skills.

Library Book Display on 26th January Report

On 26th January, a special book display was organized in the library of PMSHRI KV No. 2 Vijayawada to celebrate Republic Day. The event was successfully managed under the guidance of Mr. Sumit Sharma, Librarian.

The display featured a curated collection of books related to the history of India's independence, its Constitution, and the significance of Republic Day. The books were carefully selected to educate students about the country's democratic values, national heroes, and the importance of the Constitution in shaping the nation's future.

Students and staff members actively participated in the event by exploring the displayed books, which were aimed at enhancing their knowledge of India's political and cultural heritage. The library also encouraged students to borrow books that could further expand their understanding of the country's rich history.

परीक्षा पे चर्चा 23 जनवरी कार्यक्रम का सारांश

23 जनवरी को केन्द्रीय विद्यालय नं. 2 विजयवाड़ा में "परीक्षा पे चर्चा" कार्यक्रम का आयोजन सफलतापूर्वक किया गया। इस कार्यक्रम का संचालन पुस्तकालय अध्यक्ष श्री सुमित शर्मा के मार्गदर्शन में किया गया।

कार्यक्रम में विद्यार्थियों को परीक्षा से संबंधित मानसिक तनाव को कम करने के लिए कई उपयोगी टिप्स दिए गए। विद्यार्थियों को यह बताया गया कि वे कैसे अपने समय का सही प्रबंधन करें और अधिकतम प्रदर्शन के लिए मानसिक रूप से स्वस्थ रहें।

पीएम श्री केन्द्रीय विद्यालय नंबर 2, विजयवाड़ा के छात्रों ने पुस्तकालयाध्यक्ष सुमित शर्मा के नेतृत्व में नेशनल इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ डिज़ाइन (एनआईडी) की लाइब्रेरी का दौरा किया। यह दौरा छात्रों को रचनात्मकता और नवीन सोच को प्रोत्साहित करने के उद्देश्य से आयोजित किया गया था।

दौरे की मुख्य विशेषताएं:

• डिज़ाइन पुस्तकालय का अन्वेषण: छात्रों ने एनआईडी की विशाल पुस्तकालय में प्रवेश किया, जहां उन्हें विभिन्न विषयों पर आधारित किताबें, पत्रिकाएं, और शोध सामग्री का विशाल संग्रह देखने को मिला।

NATIONAL LIBRARY WEEK CELEBRATION

 

National Library Week was celebrated with great enthusiasm and active participation at PMSHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 2, Vijayawada, under the guidance of  Shri Sumit Sharma, the Pustkalya Adhyaksh. The week-long celebration, held from 15 TO 20 TH NOVEMBER, aimed to highlight the importance of libraries in fostering a love for reading and promoting lifelong learning among students and staff.

·  he event commenced with a formal inauguration by the Principal Sir Dr. Pvsss Krishna sir  who emphasized the vital role of libraries in education. A ribbon-cutting ceremony marked the opening of a special exhibition featuring rare and inspiring books.

·  Book Exhibition:
A curated display of books covering a variety of genres and topics attracted readers of all ages. Students and staff explored literature, science, history, and fiction, which broadened their horizons.

·  Competitions and Activities:

• Book Review Competition: Students presented reviews of their favourite books, showcasing their critical thinking and creativity.
• Quiz Contest: A lively quiz tested participants' knowledge of literature, authors, and general awareness about libraries.
• Storytelling Session: Younger students participated in an engaging storytelling session that sparked their imagination.
