नेशनल इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ डिज़ाइन लाइब्रेरी का दौरा

पीएम श्री केन्द्रीय विद्यालय नंबर 2, विजयवाड़ा के छात्रों ने पुस्तकालयाध्यक्ष सुमित शर्मा के नेतृत्व में नेशनल इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ डिज़ाइन (एनआईडी) की लाइब्रेरी का दौरा किया। यह दौरा छात्रों को रचनात्मकता और नवीन सोच को प्रोत्साहित करने के उद्देश्य से आयोजित किया गया था।

दौरे की मुख्य विशेषताएं:

• डिज़ाइन पुस्तकालय का अन्वेषण: छात्रों ने एनआईडी की विशाल पुस्तकालय में प्रवेश किया, जहां उन्हें विभिन्न विषयों पर आधारित किताबें, पत्रिकाएं, और शोध सामग्री का विशाल संग्रह देखने को मिला।
• रचनात्मकता का प्रदर्शन: छात्रों ने डिज़ाइन स्टूडियो का दौरा किया, जहां उन्होंने छात्रों द्वारा बनाई गई रचनात्मक और नवीन डिज़ाइन देखीं।
• डिजिटल लाइब्रेरी का अनुभव: छात्रों ने डिजिटल लाइब्रेरी का अनुभव किया, जहां उन्हें ऑनलाइन संसाधनों और डिजिटल पुस्तकों तक पहुंच प्राप्त हुई।
• डिज़ाइनरों से बातचीत: छात्रों को एनआईडी के अनुभवी डिज़ाइनरों से बातचीत करने का मौका मिला, जिन्होंने उन्हें अपने अनुभव साझा किए और कैरियर मार्गदर्शन प्रदान किया।

दौरे का प्रभाव:

• रचनात्मक सोच का विकास: दौरे ने छात्रों की रचनात्मक सोच और नवीन विचारों को विकसित करने में मदद की।
• डिज़ाइन के क्षेत्र में रुचि जागृत करना: इस दौरे ने छात्रों में डिज़ाइन के क्षेत्र में रुचि जागृत की और उन्हें भविष्य के कैरियर विकल्पों के बारे में सोचने के लिए प्रेरित किया।
• अध्ययन कौशल का विकास: छात्रों ने शोध और अध्ययन के नए तरीकों के बारे में सीखा, जो उनके शैक्षणिक प्रदर्शन में सुधार करेगा।

यह दौरा एक सफल आयोजन रहा, जिसने छात्रों को नई सीखने की संभावनाओं से अवगत कराया। विद्यालय इस तरह के शैक्षिक दौरे को प्रोत्साहित करता है ताकि छात्रों का सर्वांगीण विकास हो सके।

 

NATIONAL LIBRARY WEEK CELEBRATION

 

National Library Week was celebrated with great enthusiasm and active participation at PMSHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 2, Vijayawada, under the guidance of  Shri Sumit Sharma, the Pustkalya Adhyaksh. The week-long celebration, held from 15 TO 20 TH NOVEMBER, aimed to highlight the importance of libraries in fostering a love for reading and promoting lifelong learning among students and staff.

·  he event commenced with a formal inauguration by the Principal Sir Dr. Pvsss Krishna sir  who emphasized the vital role of libraries in education. A ribbon-cutting ceremony marked the opening of a special exhibition featuring rare and inspiring books.

·  Book Exhibition:
A curated display of books covering a variety of genres and topics attracted readers of all ages. Students and staff explored literature, science, history, and fiction, which broadened their horizons.

·  Competitions and Activities:

• Book Review Competition: Students presented reviews of their favourite books, showcasing their critical thinking and creativity.
• Quiz Contest: A lively quiz tested participants' knowledge of literature, authors, and general awareness about libraries.
• Storytelling Session: Younger students participated in an engaging storytelling session that sparked their imagination.

·         The celebration not only enriched students' love for books but also strengthened their appreciation for the library as a treasure trove of knowledge. The success of National Library Week at PMSHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 2, Vijayawada, stands as a testament to the school’s commitment to academic and personal growth.

National Education Day Celebration

PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya No.2 School

Date: November 11, 2024

Theme: "Empowering Minds, Brightening Futures"

To commemorate the birth anniversary of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, the first Education Minister of independent India, PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya No.2 Vijayawada organized a series of events to celebrate National Education Day. The event aimed to honor his significant contributions to the field of education and to inspire students to strive for academic excellence.

Key Activities

1.     Inauguration Ceremony:

o    The event was inaugurated with a ceremonial lamp lighting ceremony, followed by a prayer song and a welcome address by the Principal.

o    A brief speech highlighting the importance of education and the legacy of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad was delivered.

2.     Special Assembly:

o    A special assembly was conducted, featuring:

§  A captivating documentary on the life and achievements of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad.

§  Eloquent speeches by students on the significance of education in nation-building.

§  A thought-provoking debate on the role of technology in modern education.

§  A mesmerizing cultural program showcasing the rich diversity of Indian culture through songs, dances, and skits.

3.     Educational Activities:

o    Quiz Competition: A quiz competition was organized to test students' knowledge of Indian history, culture, and education.

o    Interactive Workshops: Workshops on various topics such as career counseling, digital literacy, and environmental awareness were conducted by experts.

 

 

 

Outcome

The National Education Day celebration was a resounding success. It provided a platform for students to:

• Appreciate the significance of education and its role in personal and societal development.
• Honor the legacy of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad and his contributions to Indian education.
• Develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.

अमृत काल भारत के 75वें स्वतंत्रता वर्ष से लेकर 100वें वर्ष तक की अवधि को कहा जाता है, जो देश के विकास, समृद्धि और विश्व में एक सशक्त राष्ट्र के रूप में उभरने का प्रतीक है। इस अवधि में देश को एक नए दृष्टिकोण से देखने और आगे बढ़ाने का अवसर मिलता है।

अमृत काल कहानी लेखन प्रतियोगिता का मुख्य उद्देश्य छात्रों को अपने विचारों, कल्पनाओं और रचनात्मकता के माध्यम से भारत के भविष्य की दिशा में योगदान देने के लिए प्रेरित करना है। यह प्रतियोगिता:

1. रचनात्मकता को प्रोत्साहित करती है – छात्र अपनी लेखन क्षमता और सोचने के नए तरीकों को प्रस्तुत कर सकते हैं।
2. देशभक्ति और सकारात्मकता का संचार करती है – कहानियों के माध्यम से भारत के विकास, समृद्धि और उज्ज्वल भविष्य की तस्वीर उकेरने का अवसर देती है।
3. भविष्य के प्रति जागरूकता – प्रतियोगिता छात्रों को भविष्य के भारत की कल्पना करने और उसके निर्माण में अपनी भूमिका समझने का अवसर देती है।

 महात्मा गांधी और लाल बहादुर शास्त्री की जयंती के अवसर पर केंद्रीय विद्यालय नं. 2, विजयवाड़ा में एक विशेष समारोह का आयोजन किया गया। इस अवसर पर विद्यालय में पुस्तक प्रदर्शनी का आयोजन किया गया, जिसमें महात्मा गांधी और लाल बहादुर शास्त्री के जीवन और विचारों पर आधारित पुस्तकें प्रदर्शित की गईं। छात्रों और शिक्षकों ने प्रदर्शनी का अवलोकन किया और गांधीजी और शास्त्रीजी के जीवन से प्रेरणा ली। कार्यक्रम के दौरान छात्रों ने उनके जीवन से जुड़ी कहानियाँ, उद्धरण और आदर्श प्रस्तुत किए। इस आयोजन का उद्देश्य छात्रों में इन महान नेताओं के सिद्धांतों और मूल्यों को आत्मसात करना था, जिससे वे जीवन में सत्य, अहिंसा और सादगी के महत्व को समझ सकें।
